Once the fire is completely out, just lift out the Kick Ash Basket® and give it a few shakes over a trash can. Fact: Small particles of used charcoal block airflow, making it harder to start the next fire and limits the temperatures you can reach.
Feature: Spaces between the rings in the Kick Ash Basket® allow these small particles to fall through when you shake the ashes out.
